About the project
SkinVision is an innovative mobile application designed to help people detect skin cancer early. By combining a clinically validated artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm with the expertise of leading dermatologists, its app analyzes photos of moles and skin spots to assess the risk of skin cancer with high accuracy. SkinVision achieves a sensitivity of over 90% in detecting skin cancer, accurately identifying more than 9 out of 10 cases.
Trusted by nearly 3 million users worldwide, SkinVision has conducted over 5 million skin checks to date. We take pride in being a partner in proactive skin health, providing accessible, reliable, and effective solutions to overcome barriers to early detection.
Levi9 impact
Through close collaboration with the SkinVision team, Levi9 has addressed technical challenges and delivered high-quality solutions. This includes developing and integrating new features into the iOS and Android applications to ensure seamless performance across devices and extend functionality to users in regions such as Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and the Czech Republic. Additionally, Levi9 introduced iOS test automation using the native XCUITest framework, achieving approximately 40% coverage of manual test cases, with plans to further increase coverage and implement Espresso automation for Android. Continuous refinements to the codebase have been made to optimize performance and maintainability while ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards. The backend systems have also been enhanced to support increased user demand from international market expansions, ensuring reliability and low-latency performance.
