About the project
Midocean is a leading solution provider in the promotional gifts industry, offering a highly diversified product assortment to B2B customers.
Levi9 team is developing a Product Configurator and Web2Print solution that allows Midocean customers to easily and efficiently personalize and create their orders. Along with this, we have developed a back-office application for configuring the customer-facing solution. To support the full order creation process, we are integrating our solution with third-party systems that ensure the orders are properly passed to printing and delivered to the customer.
We have based our solution on Web Components as a way to integrate with the existing Webshop, while on the backend we utilize microservice architecture and Entity Framework for accessing data. To achieve resilience and reliability, we are using queues to execute long-running tasks. To facilitate the deployment process we have established CI/CD through Azure DevOps pipelines.

With exceptional customer focus and product discovery based on key value measurements, we are working towards creating a fast, reliable, and best-in-class solution for Midocean customers. We started from scratch, building a completely new solution to replace the shortcomings of the old one. Moving on, our goal is to increase the number of online orders, thus improving the productivity of Midocean’s customer care and pre-press teams.
