About the project
Groendus is a trusted energy partner offering innovative solutions that maximize the benefits of affordable and sustainable energy. Everything you need for smart, clean and affordable energy in one place. Levi9 development team works together with one Groendus development team on the Energy Management System product. EMS helps companies to optimize energy flows. Groendus platform uses advanced Internet of Things (IoT) technology to manage and control both energy-consuming devices (like electric cars) and those that generate and store energy (including batteries, charging stations, and solar panels). It takes a range of parameters into account, such as available renewable energy and daily market conditions.
This particular project beside .NET technologies use various Azure Services, like Azure Redis, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Service, Azure DevOps, Azure Blob Storage.
Although the team does not have a dedicated Quality Assurance member, they actively contribute to end-to-end (E2E) testing as an integral part of the CI/CD pipelines.

Establishing clear communication channels, setting early expectations, and remaining flexible and responsive to feedback is crucial. In order to streamline feedback process, beside regular sprint review and retrospective meetings, we established team assessment and quarterly cooperation evaluation. Moreover, we organized knowledge sessions with the goal of gaining understanding of the energy domain and empowering the team to take ownership.
During our 1.5 yearlong partnership, Levi9 has contributed to various initiatives that led to an improved product and trustful partnership. Levi9 team took ownership of Cloud-to-Cloud connections, improved Application insights of services, including Alerting and error checking, we established 24/7 support for EMS product and completed Proof of Concept for new Aggregation Service.
