About the project
Controlant is a trusted provider of pharma-validated solutions globally, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovative technologies. Based on Levi9’s reputation as an experienced, proactive technology partner, they chose our TaaS (Team-as-a-Service) model to help them enrich their Aurora platform with third-party platform integrations. We started with a two-day workshop to collaboratively define Controlant’s vision for the project and our scope. This process laid the groundwork for our open and cooperative partnership, resulting in a minimal viable product (MVP) three months later.
After further testing and improvements, we launched AuroraTrack, a cutting-edge service that merges data streams from over 1,100 carriers, shippers, and freight forwarders, including DHL, FedEx, UPS, and others. We built the cloud-based solution with AWS-native technologies, employing a serverless architecture with microservices and distributed systems for scalability and reliability.
Levi9 impact
A unique aspect of this project is that we drive every step of the product life cycle, from the initial discovery and ideation phase to production. Our team independently manages the addition of each new transport tracker, from overland carriers to ocean and air. In this way, Levi9 has played a crucial role in shaping the Aurora Track. We’ve proven the value of having a reliable and capable partner who is equally invested in Controlant’s success.
