Levi niners often gather around common interests and activities. These are not only our expert communities, but also informal groups of colleagues united by shared passions—if you attend racing events, you’ll almost certainly be sharing the track with one of the many Levi9 runners. In that spirit, Summer9, launched in the summer of 2024, was created as a way for Levi9 colleagues in Serbia to come together, unwind, and participate in a variety of engaging activities tailored to individual interests and preferences.
The series of events provided a refreshing break from the day-to-day routine, while simultaneously fostering a sense of community and team spirit among employees. Whether on the water, in nature, or enjoying music and film, Summer9 brought people together in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.
One of the highlights of this year’s Summer9 program was its range of activities. The lineup featured thrilling water-based adventures like kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), allowing participants to experience the beauty of nature while engaging in fun, physical challenges. Many employees also enjoyed fishing trips, adding a peaceful and reflective element to the summer. For those with a taste for culture, the open-air cinema event and winery tour were perfect opportunities to relax and unwind. Additionally, the Jazz in the Garden music festival and a visit to the stunning nature reserve Carska bara were among the many unique offerings that made Summer9 memorable.

Many levi niners appreciated the diversity of the activities, recognizing the effort to cater to a broad range of interests. One employee commented, “Summer9 is the perfect solution for bringing together people with different interests. I believe the activities can only get better year after year. Jazz in the Garden was fantastic, and I’m so happy I could enjoy it with both my work colleagues and my friends.”
The events not only allowed colleagues to connect but also encouraged them to engage in new experiences that they might not have otherwise explored. “The whole ambiance was beautiful. It would be even better if we started kayaking and SUP earlier in the day, so we could stay and enjoy the beach all day. Still, it was a great idea and a perfect team activity,” shared one participant. Similarly, the fishing trips were praised for their simple yet enjoyable nature, with one employee stating, “The fishing was a brilliant idea—such a fun experience!”
Overall, Summer9 succeeded in providing Levi9 employees with unforgettable experiences that went beyond the workplace, strengthening bonds, promoting diversity, and creating memories. As the company looks ahead to future editions of Summer9, the feedback from this year’s participants serves as an inspiration to continue delivering a diverse range of activities that bring people together in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
