If you’re a fan of Dixit, you’ve probably already guessed what the title is trying to convey.
And if you’ve ever played this popular board game, you know that every card tells its own story, but it’s never as straightforward as it seems at first glance. While trying to connect images with meanings, you’re often surprised by how a single card can be interpreted in completely unexpected ways.
The same applies to Levi9. When levi niners with different interests and ideas come together, nothing is ever as you anticipated – yet, somehow, it all fits together perfectly. Through spontaneous gatherings, whether it’s board games, sports, or shared hobbies, every “card” in Levi9 turns into a story that brings us closer together and leaves us with something new.
Board Game Hangout
How many times have you heard that the best ideas are born through casual conversations and good fun? One of the reasons for that is right there on our list of 999, under #561: “We believe having fun makes it easier to get things done.” Or perhaps this one fits even better for what follows: “Our friendship is our fuel.”
It all started with a group of board game enthusiasts among our colleagues. We supported their idea to turn one afternoon into a full-on board game club in our offices. Some games were already there, others were rented, and we invited all levi niners to join in for a mix of classics like Uno, Chess, and Mafia, along with a few modern favorites – Catan, 7 Wonders, Azul, DnD, Codenames, Dixit, Cascadia, Tokaido, and many others you may not have tried yet.
The team brought their games along and enthusiastically explained the rules to anyone who wanted to join. Some opted for strategic games like Catan and Azul, while others enjoyed the creative chaos of Dixit and the laughter that Codenames brought. All of this happened simultaneously across three locations – Novi Sad, Belgrade, and Zrenjanin. Huge thanks to Tara, Jovan, Jelena, Dunja, Nikola, Marija, Jovan, Viktorija, Jovana, and Julija!
Levi9 Communities
Board games are just one example of Levi9’s diverse communities. Among our ranks, we also have Lego enthusiasts, a running crew, footballers, basketball players, and colleagues who practice Pilates together. Of course, there are also expert groups dedicated to technologies such as AI, Testing, JavaScript, Mobile, and more. Many of these communities transcend borders and serve as shared spaces not just for employees in Serbia but also for colleagues from our Delivery Centers in Romania and Ukraine.
These communities are not just opportunities for relaxation – they’re also key to strengthening team spirit and fostering creativity. Through shared activities, colleagues get to know each other better, which leads to stronger professional connections and smoother collaboration. Ultimately, these moments of togetherness can inspire new ideas and solutions, creating a positive work atmosphere that helps everyone grow.
