Our story
Everything started with a bang…
In July 1994, a comet collided with Jupiter, marking the first time a direct collision between two objects in the Solar System was observed. Upon impact, comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 caused explosions more powerful than the entire nuclear arsenal on Earth, leaving craters the size of Earth.
With a vision of having a similar impact on the IT market, Levi9 Technology Services was founded in April 2005 in Novi Sad. The significant growth of Levi9 teams has enabled us to have two development centers in Serbia today. One consists of offices in Novi Sad and Zrenjanin, and the other is in Belgrade. With our three offices in Serbia, located in the very center of these cities, Levi9 employs over 600 IT professionals.

Our journey
1994
In 1994, the comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 collided with Jupiter. This changed space forever.
2005
With a vision of having a similar impact on the IT market, Levi9 Technology Services was founded in April 2005 in Novi Sad, with its headquarters in Amsterdam.
2006
We founded 5 Days in Java, a dynamic student hackathon known today as 5 Days in the Clouds.
2012
Code9 workshops kicked off, quickly becoming a hotspot for sharing knowledge and connecting with young talents.
2014
We celebrated 9 years of Levi9 and opened the door to our Zrenjanin office.
2015
Lead9, a program focused on developing leadership competencies, is launched, along with the Tech Doc, a nine-hour film marathon of tech documentaries.
2016
Belgrade welcomed us and we opened the second Delivery Center in Serbia. Additionally, we brought to life the programming competition, Hack9.
2018
Prioritizing personal development in the workplace led us to the foundation of the Levi9 Academy.
2021
Expert communities are established, focusing on internally transferring expertise in different technologies.
2022
Our first tech conference, #9Inspiration, took place in Belgrade. In the same year, we relocated to a new office in the K-district, and DeLorean landed back to the future!
2023
We celebrated our 18th birthday! The second 9Inspiration conference took place in Belgrade.
2024
Jan Dolinaj, the country manager in Serbia and one of the founding team members, has been appointed as CTO.
